He wants to make a good impression on this man that he'll be dependent on for a decade to come, and who will hopefully stay for that decade. It'd be nice to have someone who stays at his side. "And listen to them having conversations. But it is fine if they don't. Or if they are alone."

The spoon is raised and he blows on it before eating the soup, and then lowers it back to the bowl to look up at Timo, smiling up at him. "There are a lot of people here, yes?"
